The European Union is the latest governmental body making the switch over to renewable energy. The European Commission announced that they are aiming to eliminate gasoline and diesel powered cars all across europe by 2035.
The goal is to require vehicle manufacturers to cut emissions by 55% by 2030 and then elevate that to 100% by 2035.
Europe believe that it can become the first continent that is climate neutral in 2050.
