Tampa, Florida

SOF Week 2025 was an incredible experience for the EEC Solutions team. Held in Tampa, FL, this annual gathering brings together leaders from across the Special Operations Forces (SOF) community, including military decision-makers, federal agencies, and private sector innovators. For us, it was more than just an event—it was an opportunity to build relationships, showcase our mission, and learn from others who are just as committed to serving those who serve.

We were honored to help kick off the week as a sponsor of the official “Welcome to SOF Week” brunch, held at the Tampa Club, a venue known for its elegant atmosphere and panoramic views of the city. As part of the opening ceremonies, this brunch set the tone for the week ahead. One of the highlights of the morning was hearing from our keynote speaker, Ambassador Harry K. Thomas. His message on the importance of diplomacy, partnership, and global awareness deeply resonated with all attendees and reminded us why we do the work we do.

This event gave us a chance to personally welcome many of our colleagues, partners, and new acquaintances to SOF Week. It was the perfect space for meaningful conversations before the week officially got underway.

Exploring the Exhibition Hall: A Day of Discovery and Networking

The next day, our Operations, Business Development, and Human Resources teams hit the ground running at the SOF Week Exhibition Hall. With hundreds of organizations in attendance. From defense contractors to government technology innovators, this was a prime opportunity for us to connect with others in the industry and share more about who we are and what we do at EEC Solutions.

Our Operations and Business Development team focused on meeting with key players in the federal contracting space, engaging in conversations around strategic partnerships, future opportunities, and how EEC Solutions can continue contributing to mission success. These meetings allowed us to strengthen existing relationships and introduce our capabilities to new stakeholders who might not have heard of us before.

At the same time, our HR team took a more exploratory approach, walking the floor to observe, ask questions, and gather insights. Their goal was to better understand how other companies are managing talent, fostering inclusion, and creating innovative solutions to support a dynamic and agile workforce. It was inspiring to see how much creativity and collaboration is shaping the future of our industry.

Ending the Day with Good Company

To wrap up the day, the entire EEC Solutions team attended an after-hours social hosted by our longtime partners at Lukos LLC. Events like these are more than just a chance to unwind—they’re an essential part of building community. It was great to reconnect with familiar faces, swap stories, and make a few new friends along the way. The relaxed setting offered a refreshing contrast to the intensity of the exhibit floor, giving us time to reflect on the day’s takeaways and prepare for what’s next.

Looking Ahead: Strengthening Our Commitment

SOF Week reminded us of the importance of showing up—not just physically, but purposefully. Our involvement this year was about more than attending meetings and shaking hands; it was about contributing to the larger conversation around national security, workforce innovation, and government-industry collaboration.

At EEC Solutions, we are proud of the work we do to support critical missions across the federal space. Participating in events like SOF Week allows us to learn, grow, and stay aligned with the evolving needs of our partners and clients. Whether we’re hosting a brunch, sitting down for a strategic conversation, or chatting with peers at a social event, every interaction helps strengthen our network and sharpen our vision.
